Dr. Angha has devoted her time, without any reservation, to learning all about the sciences, the technical intricacy, and the art of periodontics. As an artist and an art lover, she perceives the dental field as a bridge that united art and science. She has taken it upon herself to be a master clinician and a compassionate healer who is capable of shifting focus from the disease or condition in question to the individual. Her care philosophy focuses on promoting a proactive attitude and empowering her patients to make educated decisions in order to achieve healthy smiles, improved oral health, and a better lifestyle. Dr. Angha received her Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2000. She then went on to the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery and then continued her education as a Postdoctoral Resident in Periodontics and Implant Surgery, training with world-renowned experts in periodontics.
For Dr. Angha, learning is an everlasting process and a personal and professional obligation when it comes to patient care. She’s highly committed to remaining at the forefront of her field and staying current with the newest scientific and technical advances. She devotes a significant amount of time to continuing education courses and stays involved in periodontal education and organizations. Upon the completion of her postdoctoral program, she was able to follow her lifelong passion for education and become a Lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Since 2007, she has trained hundreds of dental students. In 2010, she was asked to teach at the Postdoctoral Periodontics Program and became the youngest clinical Faculty member.
Dr. Angha doesn’t limit her personal growth to only career achievements. She wants to live a full life and has broadened her understanding of the environment around her by staying involved in various activities. For instance, she enjoys taking philosophy courses, organizing cultural shows, partaking in live performances/dances, and regularly contributing to local fundraising. She also really enjoys spending quality time in nature, whether by the ocean on nearby hiking trails. She believes in living a balanced, active lifestyle and takes various courses in Yoga, Pilates, dance, and group fitness.
