  • Results that Last Up to a Year or Longer

What Is NightLase?

Gloved hand holding dental laser device

NightLase is a special function of the Fotona Dental Laser. All we do is apply the laser during brief sessions (which may last 20 – 30 minutes). It gently heats the tissue within the upper airway, including the throat and palate. This stimulates the production of collagen, an important structural protein. It also causes the tissues to contract and tighten. As a result, the airway becomes wider so air can more easily pass through it. Following treatment, patients often notice a huge reduction in snoring, fewer sleep apnea symptoms, and higher-quality rest overall.

Am I a Candidate for NightLase?

NightLase may be a great option for you if:

  • You snore frequently.
  • You have mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.
  • You are looking for an effective alternative to traditional sleep apnea treatments, such as a CPAP machine.
  • Your symptoms are caused by your palate, uvula, or other tissues in your throat (rather than an overly large tongue or poor jaw position).

Our team will consider the details of your case in order to determine if NightLase is right for you.

The Benefits of NightLase

Happy, mature woman comfortable in her bed

NightLase offers some impressive benefits:

  • Quieter Nights: You may snore less as your throat tissues tighten, leading to quieter nights for both you and your partner.
  • Better Airflow: You may breathe better, which leads to higher-quality sleep and the health benefits that come with it.
  • Non-Invasive and Fast: You can finish each appointment in about 30 minutes. The process is gentle and does not require any downtime afterward.
  • Lasting Relief: You may enjoy results for up to a year or longer. (This depends on things like your age, tissue laxity, and other factors.
  • Replace Other Treatments: Some people are able to stop using other sleep apnea treatments thanks to NightLase. Other individuals use NightLase as a supplement to their existing treatments.
