Frequently Asked Dental Questions

At Advanced Dentistry of Alhambra, our team is always ready and happy to help you however we can. If you’re still considering our dental office, you may have questions about us and our services. That’s why we’re providing responses to some of the questions that we are asked most frequently below. If you have other questions that aren’t addressed here on this page, feel free to contact our team! We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Why should I visit the dentist twice every year?

Even if you are vigilant in your oral care at home, attending your checkup and cleaning appointments every six months is an important part of keeping your smile healthy. During this visit, we remove plaque that has solidified in hard-to-reach areas, such as between teeth. We also make sure that your teeth, gums, and other oral structures are free from infection or damage. If we find something amiss, we can treat the problem right away—before it worsens and causes more trouble later on. If it’s been a while since your last dental appointment, contact us!

Do you treat children?

Absolutely! Our team at Advanced Dentistry of Alhambra is experienced in helping children of all ages, even those who need special accommodations. Our caring team will make their dental visits comfortable, productive, and educational so that they can enjoy optimal oral health for a lifetime.

Do you accept my dental insurance?

We can work with most PPO dental insurance plans and can handle filing claims for you. Do you have questions about your plan’s specific coverage? Just ask our knowledgeable team members! If you don’t have dental insurance, you can take advantage of our in-house dental savings plan, which includes two cleanings, X-rays, and exams for a low annual rate.

Does Advanced Dentistry of Alhambra place dental implants?

We do. Our dental office is unique because we have highly trained specialists on our staff, including a periodontist and an oral surgeon. As a result, we are able to handle every step of the dental implant process right here under one roof for your convenience. From beginning to end, we can replace your missing teeth and get your smile back to its former glory using the most advanced treatment available.

How long will it take for my dental crown to be ready?

We use CEREC technology to design, fabricate, and place your porcelain crown all on the same day. If your tooth has suffered damage from decay or injury, your restored tooth can be ready in about an hour, removing the need for a temporary crown and a return visit a few weeks later. This fast treatment saves you time and headaches and gets your smile back to full strength, health, and beauty sooner.

Do you offer Invisalign?

Yes, we do! Straightening your teeth doesn’t have to entail several long years of wearing uncomfortable metal braces. With Invisalign, we can shorten your treatment time, allow you to enjoy your favorite foods, and maintain your lifestyle with minimal inconvenience. Interested in learning more about Invisalign?
