Dr. Walia says that she is blessed to do what she loves every day as she guides her patients towards healthier, pain-free smiles. As an endodontist, she is an expert when it comes to providing root canals, and she loves putting patients' fears to rest and showing them that this procedure is nothing to be afraid of. She’s able to make even severe toothaches quickly disappear while saving teeth so her patients can get back to their lives without delay.
Dr. Walia found her calling for dentistry after volunteering at the Share Ourselves free dental clinic in Costa Mesa while in college. She loved the idea of taking care of patients, and this led her to eventually enroll in dental school. During her second year, she discovered her niche/home in endodontics, where she utilizes her naturally calming energy to soothe nervous patients and make the root canal experience as easy as possible.
Dr. Walia received her undergraduate education from the University of California at Irvine, and she went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency at NY Presbyterian Brooklyn and obtained her certificate in endodontics from the NYU Langone Brooklyn Medical Center.
