Nitrous Oxide

Although not new, nitrous oxide gas is available to guarantee your comfort. Nitrous oxide also known as "laughing gas" is a safe and effective conscious sedation method to help patients feel more relax in the dental chair. It has a calming and comforting effect while allowing you to be awake and in control during the entire procedure, so you can communicate with us.

Is Nitrous Oxide safe?

The safety of Nitrous oxide sedation is well established. Patients remain conscious during their treatment. There are practically no side effects, it's non-irritating and non-allergenic. The effect of the gas wears off within three to five minutes with normal breathing. Nitrous oxide is mixed with oxygen and you will recover quickly.

Entertaining

During treatment patients can watch TV or Movie and relax with their favorite music.

Sterilization

We follow the requirements of several federal agencies: the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA,) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Anything that goes into patient's mouth is used only once (disposable) or sterilized between patients. Needles are always disposable. Sterilization process is monitored and certified regularly by biological testing service. We use a chemiclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat, pressure and chemical agent. All the surfaces and countertops that can't be moved are disinfected by thoroughly wiping them with special disinfectant solution.

X-rays

X-rays are important diagnostic tool and used to detect conditions not visible during normal visual exam. We use Digital X-rays to make sure the amount of radiation is minimal.

Air Abrasion

Air Abrasion is advance new technique that helps remove tooth decay without using dental drill. Most patients remain comfortable and usually no anesthetic injection is necessary. Benefits: Minimal tooth structure is removed. Safe and fast - most air abrasion fillings are done in 10-15 minutes. Comfort - no vibrations, unpleasant sounds or pain. Air abrasion helps many people to feel more comfortable about dental visit.
